You are bidding on a cool vintage Fender Precision Bass Guitar Body in its original natural finish circa 1976-1977. This body is made of rock solid ash and weighs in at 6.5 lbs. The original paint stick mark exists in the neck pocket as seen. Other markings in this area include the name "SAGE", an inspection stamp, and the numerical stamp "0971". The body exhibits absolutely no armwear or buckle rashing and chips and dings are rather minimal. There is plenty of attractive flame in the wood - particularly in the back. Also, there is some ambering (color fade) which adds to the overall vibe of the piece while accenting the flame in the wood. The body does sort of show some unevenness of the color in a few spots undoubtedly due to usage, perspiration, oxidation etc but again I'd call it vibe more than anything else. I think it looks good.
