This no reserve auction features a First Day Issue $2 Federal Reserve Note in Uncirculated condition. This note is denoted as Series 1976 (the Bicentennial Year) and was printed for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (Letter "B"). The reverse shows the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. This Note is stamped with a 13 cent stamp commemorating the Telephone Centennial and is postmarked on the first day this $2 Note was issued, April 13, 1976, at the US Post Office in Raritan, New Jersey. This $2 Note is historically interesting, a fine collectible and makes a great gift especially for any youngster with an interest in the past. Note is protected in a plastic sleeve and will be shipped by USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. If you win more than one item on the same day, shipping can be combined with only 50 cents more for each additional auction item won. However please wait for a combined invoice as payment for multiple lots have to be paid together.
