1976 SCHWINN STINGRAY BOYS 3-SPEED MUSCLE BIKE VINTAGE BICYCLE 76 RAT ROD S-7 Description Here is a rare original JUNE 1976 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20" boys BICYCLE! (FM Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! *The bike is in the original and very appealing KOOL LEMON YELLOW factory painted color. It has the original chrome Schwinn S-7 rims front and rear! Both front and rear tires hold air. The front tire is a Schwinn Westwind tire and I believe is probably original for the bike. The rear is a slightly newer replacement. I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The paint is cool since it is original but it has lots of chips, scratches, etc. The chrome is shiney but not perfect show quality. The chainguard has a fresh decal. The bike is an original THREE speed with hand controlled brakes. It has the cool BIG rear brake caliper just like the Schwinn Krate bikes do. The seat is original but ripped. It will need a shift lever and cable installed to ride it as a 3-speed. (currently it works as a single speed) *I was going to use this bike for a cool bike to ride around with at the local car shows this summer! I scored another so I decided to offer this one to you! Would need a total resto for show or enjoy it in its current "rat rod" type patina. With a good "once over" you will have a really cool fun ride! I got this one basically just like you see it! I hope you enjoy it! *Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. *Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me.
