This is an original 1976 signed first edition of "The Purple Dragon and Other Fantasies", from Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum, here in the Lakemont, Georgia based Fictioneer Books edition with Illustrations by Tim Kirk and Annotation by David L. Greene, both of whom signed the volume on the illustrated paste down book label at the half title page, which also bears the facsimile signature of L. Frank Baum. This volume was published in a Limited Edition of approximately 1,500 copies, and is in generally very fine condition throughout, with tight binding, clean and supple pages, and entirely clear text and illustrations throughout. There is some minor edge wear/rubbing and nicking to the extremities of the dust jacket, which is un-clipped, and a couple of very tiny closed tears to the head and foot of the dj spine as well, and a couple of tiny stress nicks/tears to the top and bottom edges of the dj at about where the seam of the cover meets the back strip.
