This auction is for a 1977 Case XX, W165 SAB SSP "Moby Dick" pocket knife. This knife is also known as a Nantucket Sleigh Ride. Case XX #W165 SAB SSP "Moby Dick" Pocket Knife #S1232 This "Moby Dick" Pocket knife is #W165 SAB SSP. Genuine Bone Handle w/Individually Schrimshawed Whaling Scene. Comes w/Walnut Finish Shadow Box. Case XX U.S.A W165 SAB SSP Nantucket Sleigh Ride Limited Edition Folding Hunter Knife is the second knife in the Case series of whaling scenes. Sequentially numbered from 0001 to 7,500. This knife is numbered "S1232" and stamped on the back side on the tang of the blade. Blade made of True Sharp surgical steel and is saber ground. The bolsters are made of nickel silver and individually engraved with a florentine scroll design, liners are solid brass. Each natural bone handles is a one of a kind with its own grain pattern. Handle is individually scrimshawed. Comes with its own shadow box presentation case. A rare collectable knife. 1970's logo plus 3 dots # S1232 on blade and wood presentation box Used, very good condition. Ohio residents must add 7% sales tax. Buyer pays shipping.
