1978 Fender Precision Bass! 100% Original! 34 years old and in very good condition for it's age. Please check the photos closely. There are a handful of nicks and dings on the guitar, as you might expect from an instrument of this age that has been played. About 10% of the body shows very light crazing There are only two issues that I would like to call your attention too: There is an area on the upper back of the body guitar near where the strap attaches that is discolored. It looks like someone left a leather strap in the case w/guitar for too long. The pickguard is cracked at the bottom, near the input jack, and there is a small chip in the finish here as well. Both of these items are very visible in the photos. It sounds great and plays great. I bought this bass at HiWay Music in East Brunswick NJ on 1993 specifically for a band project that lasted about 6 months. I am a guitar player, I don't play bass very well. Some people say I don't play guitar very well either, but that doesn't stop me : ) Since late 1993, it has been in case for most of the time, w/ the exception of a few informal basement jams and a recent two year period that it spent in the possession of my brother who used it in the studio.
