Big 8 Football Game & Game Forecaster. 1977 edition. Published by Centennial Press. Designed by Evans & Lutz, Lincoln Nebraska. COMPLETE Football game simulation of college football played in the Big Eight Conference. Presumably MOST RARE...proclaimed "amazingly accurate" with six years research. Condition of game components VERY GOOD with minimal wear. Both game box pieces POOR CONDITION. Box top, stains, separated labels, torn box corners, gold seal raised on one side, caved in, wretched shape. Box bottom, caved in, taped, torn corners, dreadful condition. Game has 8 team cards (in school colors), 33 play cards, football field, all of these components in fine card stock. Markers, dice and instruction folder are present, too and in very good condition. The Big Eight in 1977 was Nebraska NU, Kansas KU, Kansas State KSU, Iowa St ISU, Colorado CU, Missouri MU, Oklahoma OU and Oklahoma State OSU. Offenses employed in the game are I formations and Wishbone formations, with plays available only for those formations. Have never seen another game even remotely similar to this, an interesting treatment with nice game parts and dreadful game box pieces. Most interesting and MOST RARE.
