This marvelous book-length catalogue, produced in conjunction with a 1978 exhibition at the Seattle Art Museum entitled Northwest Traditions , is an excellent resource on art produced in the Pacific northwest in the 20th century. It includes an extensive essay by Martha Kingsbury, biographical notes on the artists, interesting historical photographs, and dozens of illustrations of major works exhibited (many in color).Among the artists featured prominently were Mark Tobey, Morris Graves, George Tsutakawa, Kenneth Callahan, Louis Bunce, Paul Horiuchi, Guy Anderson, and William Ivey .The 108-page softcover volume measures 10¼ x 10¼ inches, and it is in excellent condition.
