This is a matched pair of original 1978 Maryland license plates. This pair of plates is good and straight with only some minor bends in one plate. The 1976 Maryland plates were the first year for the use of this type of red on white plate and they were not dated. After this year they were validated with stickers from 1977 up to 1980 when they went to the black on white syle of plate. This would make a great pair for your vintage car or truck, or for a license plate collection. Looking for a restored pair ready to go on that show car?
