1978 Playmatic Space Gambler Pinball Machine ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This pinball machine is being auctioned as a non-working project machine. It should be purchased by someone knowledgeable about working on pinballs or is willing to invest in a service call. The playfield on this machine is in excellent shape and shows very minimal wear, t is one "ding" near the right slingshot and other than minimal pop-bumper wear, the playfield looks like it has been hardly played and is extremely clean and has a nice clear shine to it. The playfield plastics are all in outstanding shape with the exception of the left slingshot plastic, which is chipped off at one corner.The backglass would have been a solid 10/10 with no missing or flaking paint with the exception of a small crack in the lower left corner of the glass...a real shame. However, the backglass is securely in place inside the hinged front panel. The cabinet is in decent shape. T is a "chunk" out on one side of the body. It does show normal scrapes etc. for a pinball machine of this era.The inside of this machine is very clean, the boards all look clean with no visible damage. All wiring looks good and t are no wiring hack jobs on this machine. It is a complete machine. This machine is made by Playmatic and was made in Spain.
