I am a Case XX knife collector selling my personal collectionbecause of advancing age. I open each auction at $.99 with no reserve, so every collector has a shot at a bargain. This is a truly beautiful mint CASE straight knife called a 523-3 1/4 SSP. It has a 1979 tang stamp. It is also called a "pheasant" for obvious reasons. And it is also referred to as the "small game knife". It is 7” long overall and comes with a mint sheath also. The blade is 3 1/4” long. The SSP stands for stainless steel with a polished edge. Handles: The handle is a single antler or one piece of burnt stag. T are no handle cracks or chips. Blade: The blade is satin finish stainless steel with a flat grind, and a polished edge. This knife is mint. Check the pictures to verify this for yourself. The original factory sharpening grind can be seen on the blade. The pheasant etch is in three full colors and is sharp. This is a vintage, superb, small hunting knife. You will agree that this is a vintage beauty. Thanks for bidding and looking. I will be happy to combine shipping. I can ship up to 3 medium pocket knives in a priority box for the rate of $4.95 the post office charges. If I have misrepresented the knife, return it within 7 days for a full refund, including shipping. If you change your mind for any reason, I will refund your price minus shipping.
