Wonderful white Buffalo Sabres jersey worn by 500-plus goal scorer Gilbert Perreault circa 1979. Heavy mesh jersey, tagged in the collar by Stall & Dean with a washing instructions label off to one side and a size "52" fly tag below. Two-tone tackle twill numbers decorate the back and each sleeve with smaller embroidered Sabres logos at the shoulders. "Perreault" runs across the back in blue letters on a tackle twill plate. This shirt comes from a late-Seventies playoff set (the matching blue jersey was recently sold in the hobby) and shows very light game wear with a single team repair patch just above the right cuff. A well-preserved sweater worn by a well-deserving member of the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. From the personal collection of Rick "The Stick" Elaschuk with his signed letter of provenance.
