1979 MGB GT Up for grabs is a 1979 MGB GT in black with wire wheelsI orginal bought it for spares as i was restoring the yellow one you can see in the pictures, however, as scabby as it looked it is really to good to brake for parts. Ive got to sell it as ive just finished the yellow one in the pictures and ive just started a Jensen healey, so no time or space for this one.Anyway, back to the car.... The chrome work is very good, the interior is good, you've probably noticed the wire wheels :) oil pressure is good, it has electronic ignition, the engine bay looked alot cleaner when i got it, but is been sitting in the barn for nearly a year.After all that time it NEARLY started first time! It starts, runs and drives. The paint work is really bad with micro blistering all over and crazing on the bonnet and front wings. As this would be a resto job the paint is really irrelevant. Now we come to the body work. I have sanded certain areas that looked scabby to get an idea how bad it was, and i was pleasantly surprised.
