I have for sale a 1979 MGB GT with Inca yellow coachwork. This car is a running and driving restoration project. Bodywork issues are clearly shown in the photos. It is by no means a showroom example. There are various area of rust throughout the car, it isn't rotten though. The MOT ran out last May. And was taxed a year prior to that. Please be under no illusion that this car will pass an MOT straight away. The car runs and drives rather well actually. The gearbox is great, and the overdrive works fine. All that was needed was the points cleaning and it fired up. There is are plenty of areas that need work, such as wing tops, rust on the rear wing, the doors need replacing, and various other cosmetic items, but structurally the car is good. Everything appears to work electrically. There was some welding done on the near side sill and wing, this wasn't done with aesthetics in mind, it is however, solid and the car passed the previous MOT in that state. The underneath is actually rather solid. There is some history and receipts from previous owners. Including a rather expensive bill from a Ford main dealer, they do know how to charge! One of the most valuable parts is the Webasto sunroof fitted. There are no tears and is watertight. There is also a pair of stainless steel sill trims included.
