1979 RHODES 73 Mk1 SUITCASEPIANO This is a 1979 Fender Rhodes Suitcase piano in exceptional condition. The Tolex is all original and is in overall amazing condition for a 32 year old unit. Any loose Tolex was re-glued and as you can see, this thing looks remarkable.There are a couple small (dime size) spots of tolex missing in the top side of the speaker cabinet.I blacked them in with marker and they can’t be seen with the keyboard in placeMost all of the chrome hardware, corners, feet, handles, screws and latches were replaced with new hardware from vintage vibe.The Logos look good with no cracks.The grill cloth is near perfect and looks great.I disassembled the speaker cabinet, cleaned it out, checked all the speakers and retightened any loosehardware. I also checked and retightened all the necessary power amplifier and speaker connections.All 4 speakers are original and are working perfectly.The power amplifier is the more powerful and desirable stereo version (model # FR7710).This piano is clean and obviously spent a great deal if time in storage not on the road. I addressed any issues with the tines and pickups, all were retightened and level adjusted.All the “functions” work like new, volume, treble, bass, vibrato, ect.This unit has the more desirable wooden keys as opposed to the plastic used in the later versions.The keyboard read more
