Here is a 1980 Tom Ritchey fillet-brazed ROAD frame. It measures 48 cm seat tube center-to-center and 52 cm top tube center-to-center. It is made of Columbus SL tubing and has Campy drop outs on both front and rear. It comes with a Phil Wood bottom bracket, vintage Chris King headset and Campy NR shifters. These were original to the bike. It is in very good condition with one exception. I had a professional touch up the frame and I didn't like how he blended the non-drive side chainstay, so I attempted to polish and smooth, but over polished. There is a small area about 1-1/2 x 1/4 inch on the non drive side stay that is almost down to the bare metal and could use touching up. Also, it had some chain-suck on the drive side chainstay which I had the painter touch up. The frame is NOT a repaint. It is touched up. Ritchey's graphite grey paint was very difficult to reproduce. Other than the chain-suck, there are absolutely no dings or dents in this frame. I'd keep the frame for myself, but a recent purchase of a Schwinn Paramount has me selling this to recoup some funds. What else can I say. It is an absolutely wonderful example of Ritchey's workmanship and the fillets are so smooth that the frame looks like it was poured from liquid graphite. It's stunning in the sunlight. Add this one to your American framebuilders collection. I encourage read more
