1981 FORD CAPRI 1.6 L Welcome to my auction for this 1981 Ford Capri 1.6 L, I have owned the car since November 2011 and have used it as a daily driver up until this October when I started having problems with the Carburetor, I have been advised by my local garage that it will need a new one. Apart from this the car had been running well. The car does still start and is still fully driveable so the car could be driven away but I would only advise this if you live locally, otherwise i would recommend it to be trailered away. ! The MOT expires on November 16th 2012 + Tax until the end of December ! The car was originally Gold but it has been sprayed green sometime during its life and has had the 'S' decals put on it and a boot spoiler aswell as RS alloys!! Always gets great looks and compliments. The car is in great condition for a 31 year old car!! The bodywork is very solid with slight rust on the front and rear valance but nothing major, there is also some rust around the headlights, the car is solid underneath and so are the arches. The interior needs some attention. The seats currently have black seat covers on. The door cards are in good condition however there are speaker holes in both front door cards at the bottom as there is no sound system in the car. The dashboard is in great condition with no cracks.
