Meet the 1981 Sasha Doll 180 Velvet Limited Edition. She is a Limited Edition made in England and # 4639 of 5000. The back of the box slip sleeve says “This is a special Sasha doll out of a limited edition of 5000. Each is marked with its individual number and carries a signed certificate. She wears a dark blue velvet dress with lace around her neck and wrists, an underskirt of Broderie Anglaise lace and black patent shoes trimmed with bows. Her light brown hair is wigged in a new and attractive fashion. The eyes are painted grey blue. A great deal of careful handwork makes this doll different and special. May this 1980 version of Sasha be enjoyed.” In spite of the apparent discrepancy of 1980 or 1981 this is the 1980/1981 version of the doll. This doll is MINT. The box has been out of the shipper twice: once when she was received at the toy store and now, to have her picture taken! She is a beauty and will be an absolute asset to any Sasha Collection!
