1982 US COMMEMORATIVE WASHINGTON SILVER HALF DOLLAR PF SKU #82 1/2 PF Twin City Gold is honored to offer this coin; the first commemorative Half Dollar issued since 1954, commemorated the 250th anniversary of the birth of George Washington. As more and more people begin to collect, these coins are increasing with immense popularity...do not get left out!This commemorative was also the first 90% silver coin produced by the U.S. Mint since 1964. Designed by Elizabeth Jones, Chief Sculptor and Engraver of the United States, the obverse features George Washington astride a horse. The reverse depicts the eastern facade of Mount Vernon.
