VINTAGE 1984 56cm VITUS 979Beautiful Road RacerIn the mid 80's Vitus 979 bikes were the mac-daddy aluminum bikes to ride. I didn't have that kind of cash so I rode a Cannondale. One of my buddies road a Vitus and I was always looking at it and dreaming. I bought this one in the mid 2000's way after they the bike world had passed them on. I found that they still provide a great ride AND people stop to look and comment on them.Frame has purple anodized (not painted) tubes with polished silver aluminum lugs and a worm drive seat post clamp.
