These are the Strat-O-Matic Baseball 1984 season game cards. I am the original owner of these cards. The set is complete with all 26 teams, has all of the extra players and includes the roster sheet. The set is generally in excellent condition and did not see heavy play. I have been playing Strat-O-Matic baseball since 1974 and was the only user of these cards. There is minimal writing on the cards (I wrote the new team name on the cards for players traded during the season). The set is nice white cards with no yellowing except a few cards with rubber band staining . The cards still have sharp corners! 1984 was a memorable season for Tigers fans as they went wire to wire, starting out 35-5 and finishing knocking off San Diego in the World Series. Willie Hernandez led them with a Cy Young and MVP performance and Tony Gwynn won one of his many batting titles with a .351 average and led the San Diego Padres to the World Series. This auction is for the cards only (no game box, etc.is included). The original Strat-O-Matic AL and NL Roster Sheet is included with this set offering.
