Up for sale is a completely working 1985 Bally/Midway four player Eight Ball Champ pinball machine. Every lamp lights and all solenoids fire correctly. The playfield has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, re-rubbered, and a new mirror finish pinball has been installed. The machine also has a new tempered playfield glass. Eight Ball champ features speech and an easy to understand set of rules. A player must light all solids or stripes by hitting the designated drop targets and then make the eight ball shot to score special. Cosmetically, the machine is in good condition. The backglass is perfect with no flaking. The cabinet has fading in the red areas on the left side, a few scrapes, and some areas that have been touched up. The left side in particular has been touched up in the lower right corner in such a way that hides some of the old artwork as can be seen in the photograph. The playfield is covered in protective mylar so the paint is in great condition. The right slingshot plastic is broken as well as a larger upper right plastic. Both plastics have been patched (the slingshot was patched with a large washer and the larger plastic glued to another piece of plastic.) and they do not effect gameplay.
