1985 Gary Carter Silver Slugger Award from The Gary Carter Collection. Carter launched a career-high thirty-two home runs this season as the Mets' leading run-producer with 100 RBI's. This is the fourth of five Silver Sluggers earned by the World Champion catcher. A full-sized silver bat is mounted on a wooden stand bearing a Louisville Slugger logo and engraved plaque naming Carter as a "Member of The Sporting News National League Offensive Team, 1985." Other winners that season included Ryne Sandberg, Dale Murphy and Dave Parker. Slight handling wear, but still presents beautifully. Letter of provenance from Sandy Carter.
