Barlcay-Rex Tobacconists est. 1910 Today we have available a beautiful pipe made by Peterson of Dublin: Official measurements from Peterson: Length: 153 mm / 6.12 in Height: 48 mm / 1.90 in Outside Diameter: 41 mm / 1.62 in Chamber Diameter: 22 mm / 0.87 in Chamber Depth: 38 mm / 1.50 in Weight: 60 gr / 2.41 oz This pipe was owned by master pipe carver Vincent Nastri, II, son of the founder of Barclay-Rex and master pipe carver Vincent Nastri, father of the current owner, Vincent Nastri, III. As an avid pipe lover and collector, this piece was given the utmost care and the pipe is in pristine condition aside from the natural blackening of the rim of the bowl and some small knicks near the bottom of the pipe. This is part of the 'Star' line from Peterson, featuring a beautful ruby stain and the iconic, dry-smoking Peterson System, the classic 'bell' shape found only in the Peterson brand, and the legendary P-Lip stem designed to minimize tongue-bite. The stem is military cut and fitted into a shank featuring a sterling silver band. As pictured, the pipe has a well-sized bowl and a perfectly proportioned full-bent stem, leaving it well-balanced and perfect for a clencher despite it's rather large bowl. It also has beautiful bird's-eye on most of the bowl moving into some flame grain as well. Posted with eBay Mobile
