Approximate Maximum Dimensions: 19.5cm x 10cm x 2cmIdentifying Marks: CRACKERJACK MADE IN ENGLAND 1985 on the nutcracker itselfMaterials and Design: All metal. The handle on the side operates a crank ratchet mechanism which gradually moves the inner part up towards the blade in the top. These were intended for various actions to break up whatever was between the cranked holder and blade - mainly for nuts, crab/lobster and also perhaps ice.Condition: The blade looks a little darkened and marked - but all bright working condition with a good spring and ratchet action. The packet is rather battered and torn but explains their use.
