Up for sale is Flipside magazine's 1986 (or '87) "Ten Year Anniversary Issue - No. 54". This magazine is a retrospective of the first 10 years of Flipside, with reprints of important interviews going back to their first issue in Summer of 1977. Check out the picture of the contents page above to see all the bands interviewed. There are lot of pictures - it's pretty great to see original shots of those late '70s bands. Magazine is not entirely complete; the back cover and last few pages are missing. The contents page lists the last issue covered as starting at page 218, and the magazine is missing everything past page 222. According to the contents page, this is only missing part of a Husker Du interview, as well as the SWA and Vicious Circle interviews. Pages 1-218 are present and attached. the entire magazine has seen lots of use but is still completely readable. The cover and first third or so of the zine has some wrinkling, and most of the upper right hand corner of the 'zine has some minor wrinkling. No pages are stuck together. I haven't seen any tears throughout the 'zine. The cover is starting to come off of the binding. Again, this 'zine has seen some use, but is still a great record of the L.A. punk and alternative scene of the late '70s and through the mid-'80s.
