## I have decided to sell my lovely series 3 jaguar sovereign 4.2 it has 8 months m.o.t ( passed with no advisories ) 10 month tax. and has only covered 70,000 miles, and has been pampered, it has wanted for nothing, i have file of bills for work carried out by jaguar specialist where it had regulary service and m.o.t the service book has 10 stamps from surrey jag center, when i purchased car, i rang surrey jag center to verify service history, which they gladly did as they new the car and its history. the service booklet i have is the replacement jaguar service record, ( needed because the car was so well serviced it used up standard service record.) most years the car covered less than 500 miles, but the owner would insist on full service prior to the m.o.t the car was last serviced on 05/03/12 milage 66,978 i am using car and milage is now 70,000 i purchased the car in march from the family of a deceased owner, the reason i am selling the car, is that i have recently taken on my two grandchildren fulltime, so i need a more appropriate car. the outside colour is dorchester grey, and the interior is saville grey leather, the interior is in fantastic condition, headlining is perfect, no damage to seats, leather looks great as it is, but would come up like new with colour polish and a feed, all wood is excellent. as is dashdoard. all electrics work fine, engine,gearbox,steering all excellent, as are both exhausts. and both fuel tanks. the car is a dream to drive, the five pepperpot alloys are in good condition, no damage to rims ( would look like new with very light refurb ) with good pirrelli p4000 sport/touring tyres. this car has a top grade clifford alarm and seperate imobiliser. this is a very usable classic, and just oozes style. as with any 27 year old car, there are some of usual jaguar failings, i will list known bad bits, drivers side door wont lock with key, flat spot on paint on n/s front wing, very small area slight bubbling to couple places front and rear screen, rear o/s wheel arch ( about 8 inch) needs tidying, bottom front n/s wing (about 2 inch) under valance at front could do with tidying, and the odd trolley ding. i try to be as honest as possible with descriptions, and will do my best to answer any questions viewing is welcome and recommended as descriptions can be subjective... SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUNDS, AND ARE GENUINE BIDDER, NO MORE TIMEWASTERS PLEASE.... FEES ARE KILLING ME#### SODS LAW.. #### exhaust downpipe started to blow this morning,, took it to jaguar specialist i use, he checked it all out, its blowing from union , rather than try patch up, i have ordered new downpipe ( £150 plus fitting ) unfortunatley it cant be fitted until later next week, due to garage being busy, this car has wanted for nothing, and even though im selling car, i would rather replace it, and know i was as honest as i could be, this means car only available after new exhaust fitted, later next week, i have messaged higest bidder,and he is ok with this, so rather than remove car at this latestage, i am letting it run, i value my feedback so being as honest as i can be. regards chris read more
