1986 was a personal best year for Jesse Barfield, the right fielder for the Toronto Blue Jays, and though his team may have not given him the support necessary to defend their division title, he made the All-Star team and earned the Golden Glove Award. The stunning gold glove with "Major League All-Star Fielding Team" stamped in the palm and with Jesse Barfield signature along the pinky, sits atop a wooden podium with a gold baseball on either side. A brass photo plaque of the smiling Jesse Barfield rests just below the glove. Below that is another placard which reads "1986 Rawlings Gold Glove Award presented to Jesse Barfield. Honoring His Selection to The Sporting News American League All Star Fielding Team". All original, this award is an absolutely breathtaking piece of baseball tradition. Excellent condition, it stands 17" tall and 17" wide.
