C Up for auction is this RARE, and in great condition 1988 Homestar Grandpa Time storytelling player/clock. I have completely restored Grandpa Time, rebuilding the tape deck, installing a new tape drive belt, new display and night light lamps, checking, repairing, or replacing components. I have gone thru each of his functions several times, set and reset functions to insure he does all that he is supposed to do. He DOES! This unit is in excellent condition. He is white! He will come in his original box without the styrofoam insert, his original instructions with his original AC adapter. This unit does not take batteries, it must be plugged into the wall. Both the analog and digital clocks set and maintain time. All display functions on the led front work as set up per instructions. There are several options to set him up, as described in instructions. The box shows shelfwear, some small creases, small tears, etc. Displays nicely and is intact.There will be 4 of his original story tapes included with him. The tapes alone are very hard to find. Any tape will play in Grandpa Time, but only his will play the announcements on schedule. The tape titles are: Enchanted Stories, International Tales, Classic Fairy Tales and Favorite Tales.
