GOOD HOME WANTED FOR A CLASSIC USA STRATOCASTER! This is an unusual and very cool looking USA Stratocaster, the colour of which I would describe as a dark petrol blue/green. It was built in the Corona factory in 1988/89. Everything, apart from a new tremello arm and the Fender N3 Noiseless pickups is original. When I bought the guitar, it had not been played for over ten years, had a non-original set of un-matched pickups and the tremello arm was missing. I cleaned all of the electronic components, fitted a matched set of Fender N3 Noiseless pickups and gave the frets a light dressing. I fitted a replacement fender USA tremello arm and then set up the guitar for 10 to 46 gauge strings. The result is a beautiful, players Stratocaster, that is a dream to play and sounds gorgeous with a wide range of tones. The action is low fast and choke-free. The guitar just feels right and just makes you want to pick it up and play. The guitar has the original TBX tone control system and this works well with the new N3 Noiseless pickups. Apart from natural ageing, the guitar is in excellent condition for its 25 years, with virtually no fret wear and only a few very minor and superficial marks to the body.
