1989 China 3.3 Tael God of War and Wealth Coin Clouded Claw Up for auction is for A Very Rare Year 1989 3.3 Tael Silver Proof China God Of War and Wealth (Zhao Gongming) Coin Clouded Claw. Clouded Claw is where the Dragon's Claw is fill with the Cloud where as Clear Claw the Dragons claw is not fill with cloud, this was discovered by a memebr of CCF. Pls see picture. A very rare and hard to find item. The Coin weighs 3.3 Tael or 103.12 grams containing 99.9% silver is minted by China Mint. The obverse coin consists of the chinese character (FU) in the center for happiness and the decorative figures of a Dragon and Phoenix on the side; on the top are the characters for the chinese lunar calendar year of Jisi. Below the FU character states the name of China Mint Gold Coin Corp and on the bottom the Chinese phrase of "boundless happiness". On the reverseit depicts Zhao Gongming, the folk God of War and Wealth. and also the precious metal content (fineness 999) and weight kuping tongbao 3.3 liang (tael). Zhao Gongming, aka Marshal Zhao or Zhao Xuantan (meaning 'black god') is considered by chinese Taoists as the Law Enforcement God. It was said that he attained Taoists enlightenment in Zhongan mountain during the Qin period.
