You are bidding on a 1991 Orlando Thunder miniature football helmet. The Orlando Thunder were members of the World League of American Football (WLAF) which had a short life of two seasons in 1991 and 1992. The league was founded in 1990 with the support of the NFL as a means to expose American football to other parts of the world. These items are very rare as they were produced in limited quantities during the short life of the league. The London Monarchs won the first World Bowl in 1991 defeating the Barcelona Dragons 21-0 in London. The Sacramento Surge defeated the Orlando Surge 21-17 in the 1992 World Bowl played in Montreal.
