They are printed on a thin glossy paper similar to fax paper. They are thinner than a traditional original photo and are often found slightly toned due to aging. They are considered a second or third generation image slightly lesser quality than an original photograph. A large majority of these laserphotos have never been published. Original laserphotos may have at least one of the following: printed captions, crop marks, editor's notes, date stamps, photographer's names, player identification and other writing.
