Gorgeous Gem Olympic Participant Medal from the United States games for the athletes and other team members (coaches, trainers, etc.) from the countries participating at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. The host country, of course, always issues such participant medals for all of the athletes and team members at the games.The medal is totally problem free and very attractive, although the design is somewhat less exciting than many foreign Olympic medals, as from a design/art standpoint one could say that the U.S. was more conservative and took fewer risks in creating the design, something which the mint has been criticized for in the recent past, also, in the creation of this country's circulating and commemorative coinage. Comes with the complete "as issued" velvet pouch and matching green, gold embossed cardboard box.We normally do not sell outside the U.S., but have noticed that our Olympic and world's fair items draw substantial interest from many different European and Asia countries.Therefore we will add appropiate shipping to all non U.S. countries but will ship postpaid/free shipping in the U.S.Thanks for looking.
