Prior to1996 strong rumors were circulating that Chrysler was going to make the concept Plymouth Prowler a reality. Sure enough.....both at the LA and Detroit auto shows they unveiled their futuristic looking hot rod. Chrysler knew that it needed to have it also at the 1996 BEACH CONCOURS D' ELEGANCE. Those people who paid and were attending the Saturday evening dinner, August 17th, 1996 were surprised to find one of these beautiful Plymouth Prowler PONDS in front of their dinner plate. There's three in the series handed out at other locations and dates. The two other PONDS are: "Meaningful Innovation - Plymouth Prowler Renaissance Meeting, January 3, 1996" and the one of the hardest to find, the "Chrysler Financial Revolving Credit Facilities, 1996". My friend who I purchased this from was down there because the LINCOLN was that years featured automobile. I also purchased the original program which will be included. The original poster is much harder to find. As a bonus I will include the Chrysler Prowler "PISTON" press kit. At the time this was by far one of the most unusual press kits. It has a Prowler brochure inside. This was handed out in 1996 both in LA and Detroit car shows. It's hard to find one after 17 years that is in this good of condition. Near MINT!
