This auction is for a n A wesome 1997 A G Russell USFH-5 American Trapper Cattaraugus Knife that is still mint in box. This is a beautifully made knife, in my opinion the finest of the Club knives made. It is fine US quality with ama zing brown jigged bone handles. It is n umber 173 of only 300 made. It is a two blade trapper with bolsters and caps of nickel silver, liners of bra ss and an acorn inlay of stainle ss steel. The blades are 440A heat treated to 57-59Rc. It measures 6 15/16" open and 4 1/8" closed. 3 1/4" drop point skinner blade and long spey blade. The skinner blade is marked "Cattaragus, 1997, Springdale, Ark" and the spey blade is marked "FH-5, KCC, USA. This was the fifth in the Folding Hunter series. Comes with cool Cattaraugus old style box with foam inlay. The quality on this piece is first rate, the blades snap with precision and the jigging on the beautiful
