1997 Twist 'N Turn Smasheroo Barbie (brunette)by Mattel (New, NRFB) Description The item for sale is "Twist 'N Turn Barbie", a limited edition and first in the "Collectors Request Collection" from 1997 by Mattel. This collection is a series of reproduction and modern Barbie dolls developed with the input of Barbie doll collectors. This doll for sale is a reproduction of the vintage Twist 'N Turn Barbie wearing a reproduction of the "Smasheroo" fashion from 1969. Barbie has long straight brown hair with bangs. The doll also comes in a redhead version. Barbie wears a mod era outfit featuring a red and yellow striped shirt dress with yellow plush coat and matching hat, textured yellow stockings and red boots. Please see our other auctions for other reproduction dolls, as well as Barbie, Ken and friends dolls from the 1980's and 1990's.The item for sale is new, never removed from box, never displayed nor played with. The box is in excellent condition. It has been stored in a dust-free environment and comes from a non-smoking home.
