1998 Nagano Olympic Snowlet Plush Mascots These are the four Snowlets, the official mascots of the 1998 Nagano, Japan Olympic Winter Games.The official mascots of the 1998 Nagano Games were the Snowlets, Sukki, Nokki, Lekki and Tsukki.The Snowlets represent the owls found in the forests of Nagano and their embodiment as"the wisdom of the woods." The name Snowlets also suggests the snow of the winter and the Olympic Winter Games. The four Snowlets, representing the four-year cycle of the Games, each have their own special personality. Sukki knows the language of fire and is kind and passionate. Nokki, who speaks the language of the wind, is curious, friendly and, sometimes, mischievous. Lekki speaks the language of the warm earth and is calm and attentive. Tsukki who understands the language of water is the romantic one with a love of music, singing and dancing.
