Selling in this auction is a MINT Swarovski 1998 Crystal Christmas Ornament A 9445 NR 980001 The Ornament was only produced for the 1998 year. Has the silver imprinted "1998" tag and blue satin ribbon! Please look at the close up of the Swarovski swan logo "signed" near the centre Comes with the Original Inner and Outer Box and the triangular certificate for the year Introduced in 1998 and Retired in December 1998. "signed" with a Swarovski swan acid etched on the back of the ornament I had been fascinated by the Swarovski Christmas ornaments since they first came out in 1991, and bought every year a number of ornaments. I had kept them in dealer boxes for years, watching their value grow. Now, I am trying to raise money for my daughter's expensive University tuition (St. Louis University); I am selling this week, every year of Swarovski Christmas ornaments, and ending on Monday, August 18 a sale of a rare and hard to find GREEN AISM Swarovski Christmas ornament, and 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 ornaments with bonus dealer boxes starting Friday August 8. The ornament in the photo is the one you will win in this auction. You may be wondering what the last two pictures are. I have in my possession and have listed now, ending August 18, this remarkable and very very rare Swarovski 2000 ornament. In the year 2000, Swarovski made a few hundred of this special ornament to support an Italian medical research organization called AISM The ornament was sold at a banquet to the guests; the outer box was wrapped in a green ribbon and the inner box has green velvet lining, and t is a green ribbon on the ornament. The silver 2000 tag was used, but it was turned around and it has the green AISM logo enamelled on it. So this tag is double marked, 2000 on the back, and AISM in green and white on the front. I also have a letter from an executive at the Swarovski company assuring me that the ornament is genuine and was created by Swarovski to benefit the AISM foundation; i include the letter with the sale, to prove "provenance". Very few people even know that the ornament exists. So, if you pride yourself on having the complete set of Swarovski Christmas ornaments, yours cannot be complete without this one. This 2000 ornament has to be the most rare of all Swarovski creations!!! It is listed as Swarovski 2000 Green AISM ornament, ending Monday, August 18 at 8:29 pm I accept Pay Pal, or personal cheque .
