This is a lovely Art Nouveau patinated copper picture frame, its decorated with flowers and has stylized Art Nouveau whiplash borders. It has a registration number, and across the top a quote from Shakespeare ' THERE'S ROSEMARY, THAT'S FOR REMEMBRANCE' I think that's said by Ophelia in Hamlet The high spots on the copper have patinated to a chocolate brown patina, the rest still retains its original green patina, I have never seen this before, its lovely. The copper front is applied to a quality solid oak frame, and I believe the glass to be original It measures 4 ½ inches square approx (11.4cm) There are no problems or issues with this frame, its in very good condition.
