Up for Auction Is This Beautiful Old Copper & Brass w/Ebony Wooded Handles & Finial Coffee, Tea Pot or Kettle. This piece is strikingly old, dating mid 1800's or a bit earlier as I compare it to some of the other items in this box I'm unpacking. I am leaving this piece in its original condition. Of Course, New Owner Can Manipulate The Copper Top to Fit Snugly To Bottom, but this Is The Way Someone In My Family Stored These Pieces & they Are All Being Sold Exactly As I Unpack Them. The piece stands approx 8 1/2" T & Measures Approx 7-7 1/2" W from Spout Tip To Ebony Wood Handle. The Copper & Brass Are Maleable & any & all parts can be made to fit more snugly as mentioned above, quite easily; however, I won't touch it. It is exqusitely beautiful with Fleur De Leis on both Sides of Spout & has somewhat of a raised relief decorative ovals along the base. The Hinges & Spout type are of a Very Strong Brass. My Family Originally came to States From England & France (first home being in Massachusetts & many of the pieces are from Canada or England or France. This piece does not have makers mark on it that I can view. It's is obviously quite precious; w/some dents & dings commensurate with useage & age. Many of the pieces I will list were used & were very special to the family or they would not have been stored with such care. I AM SELLING MANY OLD ITEMS FROM 300 YEAR OLD SOUTHERN ANTEBELLUM HOME.
