This is a lovely soft paste porcelain figurine of 2 ladies and 2 gentleman in a sitting room scene. It is hand painted with rich colors. The detail is fantastic right down to the tea set. The man and woman on the left are seated in a rich green couch with gold trim, she is holding a closed fan in her hands. The standing lady is holding a teacup and saucer and the gentleman on the right is holding a cup in one hand while the other arm is draped over the gold trimmed chair. The tea service is set on a very ornate table. T is a deep purple rug on the floor and applied porcelain flowers scattered about the base. I could find no damage on this piece. It makes a wonderful display! It is marked on the back of the base with what I believe is the blue crown over fancy D mark of Helena Wolfsohn, Dresden, Germany, circa 1886. It measures just under 6.5" high and 9.5" long.
