Charming 1 3/4" High x 1 3/4" wide Replica 19th C antique clear glass inkwell. Very heavy thick clear glass each with charming subtle signs of being hand made. The hinged shiny lid is nickel plated brass. Inkwells were used as you might imagine to store ink to write with. Someone would dip their writing utensil in the ink before writing. Charming small size on this piece making for a attractive display. This piece is in new condition never used In stock pre inspected and ready to ship. Not a 2nd or 3rd party shipper...
