This is quite an early example of a German hunting knife, dating from between mid 19 th century and WW I era, has a 4 ½" blade of typical style, showing nearly black patina throughout and some light pitting, multiple sharpening through the time is evident, blade bares a well preserved maker's name near the spine and also has very distinctively worked spine on the half of the length. Stag grip with German silver mounts, pommel is slightly loose, the rest of the knife is completely solid. Measures 9" overall. Guarantee shipping in time for Christmas with timelly payment.
