I am pleased to offer for sale this wonderful period Federal round Eagle mirror circa 1820's. This is a fantastic find, a great detailed carved wood mirror with a majestic caved spread wing Eagle on a rock at the top and carved scrolls and plumage on each side of the Eagle and across the bottom. This entire piece measures 40" total in height, an 23 inches wide, the actual mirror size is 15 inches in diameter. The actual mirror has been replaced but does have a great deal of age to the mirror (We believe this to be a vintage mirror replacement). This has a aged gold wash that is still in great condition for its age, t is also a repair to the top right wing tip of the Eagle. An outstanding hart to find mirror that would be fantastic over a desk, in a library or study , and would be a fabulous addition to add with Federal or Empire furniture decor.Please ask all questions and concerns before purchasing.
