Plump and deeply engraved in the Roman Key and Star pattern by The Boston and Sandwich Glass Company, this is a large blown flint glass pitcher with an ample size applied glass handle. Copper wheel engraved and from the 1880's period of Sandwich glass production, it is a traditional 19 th century form and shows concentrated base wear and very light surface wear. The interior is very clean, the exterior has surface scratches, the handle has complete integrity and the rim and spout are unblemished. A very nice example of this pattern with densely scattered 8-point stars above and below the deeply cut bands, it measures 7 1/2 inches high and is in good condition. Buyer pays actual USPS weight based shipping and $0.75 cents handling. Money orders and PayPal are a quick ship and personal checks need to clear before shipping. We can accommodate preferred USPS international shipping methods if requested.
