An attractive pottery bowl. Likely made in Scotland sometime around 1840. Many of these mocha decorated pieces were made in Staffordshire during the 1820's and earlier. This particular piece, due to the colors and shape I believe is Scottish. It is decorated with a lovely cable or earthworm design in a pale blue palette. A lovely addition to any early pearlware creamware collectionSize: 6 1/2" in diameter and 3 7/8" tallCondition: cracked down the side and partially around the base. Crazed and stained a bit. It does have a good side and would be a nice display piece.
