19th Century Copper Lustreware with Aphrodite and Mercury (Hermès) Pitcher Staffordshire. Notice the cross under the lip. Condition is excellent. Normal crazing and a few breaks on the relief. No chips or cracks. The lines on the underside of the base are not cracks only crazing that does not go through. The raised ornamental Greek mythology relief by hand detailing speak for itself in this truly one of a kind piece, which measures 10" wide and 6 1/2" deep.HISTORY OF COPPER LUSTER WAREDuring the 1820-1860 periods there were a number of Staffordshire factories producing these luster pieces. I guarantee all items I sell.Thank you
