19th Century Historic Document Affidavit Document reads as follows:- Regina Josepha Maria Theresia Dellafaille of the City of Antwerp the widow and sole ?????? of Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Van de Werve otherwise the noble Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Count Van de Werve and Vorselaer Baron de Lichtaert, late of the same place deceased, maketh oath and saith, that the sum of four thousand four hundred pounds of stock of reduced three per cent bank annuities is now standing in the name of the said deceased in the books of the Govenor and company of the Bank of England, kept for entering of the transfer of that stock by the description of Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Van de Werve of Antwerp, and that the said deceased had not any beneficial interests whatsoever in the said sum of £4400 reduced three per cent Bank Annuities or any part thereof, and this deponent saith, that Augustin Henri Marie Baron Van de Werve, late of Antwerp aforesaid, the son of the said Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Van de Werve, died intestate whereupon his said Father the said Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Van de Werve obtained Letters of administration of his estate and effects to be committed and granted to him by the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury and that the said Charles Bernard, as such Administrator, ????? the sum of three thousand and ninety one pounds and ten shillings stock of reduced three per cent Bank Annuities then standing in the name of him the said intestate, to be transferred into the name of him the said Charles Bernard the Administrator upon ????? for the use and benefit of the infant children of the said intestate named Marie Theresa Jeanne Josephe Van de Werve, Spinster Charles Augustin Louis Joseph Marie Van de Werve, Regine Anne Marie Josephe Van de Werve, until one of the should attain the age of twenty one years and this deponent saith that the said Charles Bernard the Administrator ?????? the dividends of the said sum of £3091.10 reduced three per cent Bank Annuities or some part thereof to be laid out in his name in the purchases of stock in the same Annuities, and that the whole amounts to the said sum of £4400 reduced three per cent Bank Annuities so standing in the name of the said Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Count Van de Werve at a foresaid, and that the whole of the said sum belonged to the estate and effects of the said intestate, and were so transferred and invested in the name of the said Administrator upon trust, for the said Children above named, of the said intestate whatever in the same, or any part thereof, and this deponent saith that it is her intention to transfer the said sum of £4400 reduced three per cent Bank Annuities to the children of he said intestate, and this deponent saith that the amount or value of the estate within the Province of Cantebury for which the stamp duty was paid on the probate of the will of the said Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Count Van de Werve is sufficient to include and cover all the personal estate and effects whereof of whereto the said Charles Bernard Jean Gislain Count Van de Werve was in any manner beneficially possessed or entitled within the said province so far as the same have found to the knowledge of his deponent.Signed Regina Josepha Maria Theresia DellafailleThis commission is duly executed and ????? by the said Regina Josepha Maria Theresia Dellafaille in all the form by the said Commission required.
