Description Here is a nice 19th century naval boarding axe in original condition. The iron head and langet straps have a nice surface patina with dark areas from age. The original wooden handle has a nice shape and dark patina. The iron head is secured onto the handle with two iron straps which also protect the neck area. In total measuring 17.5 inches long, 9.3 inches wide with a 2.2 inch long blade. Please care to look at my other items currently on Ebay. I have listed many vintage items of all types.
